Cochrane Ranchehouse Summer Wedding

If you’re looking for a beautiful venue with a Rockies view to get married at, but don’t want to travel as far as Canmore, Banff, or Lake Louise, then the Cochrane Ranchehouse may be for you. This venue is in the foothills of the Canadian Rockies and can accommodate weddings as large as 200 guests in one of three event spaces. The Ranchehouse is filled with rustic charm, while creating a modern and romantic setting for wedding days.

Jena and Chris started their big day at an AirBnB in Cochrane, just minutes from the venue. One benefit of being in Cochrane is that you can drive to the Rockies for mountain portraits, a first look, and some gorgeous wedding party photos just as we did. After a nice stop at Middle Lake in Bow Valley Provincial Park, we headed back to Cochrane to get these two married.

The Cochrane Ranchehouse has a beautiful terrace overlooking the rolling hills, and in the distance, the Rockies. Jena and Chris said their “I do’s” in front of family and friends on a beautiful summer afternoon, and celebrated their wedding in the Chinook Dining Room - a beautiful space with soaring ceilings, wooden beams, and tons of natural light. Thanks to Tara from Stoppa Photography for having me out to second shoot this gorgeous wedding!
